Why should I create an Evan-Moor.com account?

Once you create an Evan-Moor.com account, you can enjoy the ease and convenience of saving your favorite items, accessing your order history, and amassing rewards. We also require an Evan-Moor.com account for ordering.

With an Evan-Moor account, you can:

  • Place your order online.
  • View your order history. Tired of searching through your inbox for your order information? Sign in and find your order history right away. Print a copy of your order or generate a PDF invoice.
  • Track shipments. Know exactly when to expect your books and be ready for their arrival.
  • Manage E-books. Easily access and assign your e-books.
  • Add or edit the addresses for your account.
  • Change the password for your account.
  • Create or update a wish list.
  • Monitor your reward points.

How do I add a new billing and shipping address to my account?

With an Evan-Moor account you can access and change your billing and shipping information at any time. In order to add a new billing and shipping address to your account, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the icon at the top right of the home page and Log In to your account
  2. Select this icon again and choose My Account.
  3. In the My Account area, select Addresses.
  4. Scroll down and click on ADD NEW.
  5. Select the appropriate Address Type. Enter all the requested information. Be sure to click on the SAVE button to submit your update.

    NOTE: When you are adding the address that will be used for billing, please be sure to enter the billing information exactly as it appears on your credit card or bank statement.

How do I change an email address for my account?

  1. Click on the icon in the top right of the home page and Log In to your account.
  2. Hover over this icon again and choose My Account.
  3. In the My Account area, select Customer Info.
  4. Edit the email address as needed.
  5. Click the green SAVE button at the bottom of the page, to save your changes.

Your email address will immediately be updated.

How do I change my billing and shipping information?

With an Evan-Moor account, you can access and change your address information at any time. To update your address information, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account. Hover over the icon and choose My Account.
  2. In the My Account area, select Addresses.
  3. Locate the address you wish to change.
  4. Select the appropriate button to either EDIT or DELETE the address.

When you edit an address, change the information as needed and then click the green SAVE button to save your changes.

When you delete an address, you will be asked if you are sure. When you click OK, the address will be removed from your address list.

Your address list will immediately be updated.

I can’t remember what email address I used to start my account. What should I do?

If you have tried multiple email addresses and are still unable to access your account, please do not create another account. Contact our customer service department, and a representative will look up your log-in information for you.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

If you have forgotten your Evan-Moor account password, click on the Log In link located in the top-right hand corner . Click on the Forgot password?  link. Type in your email address, and Evan-Moor will email you a request to reset your password.

  • Please note that once your password is reset, you should log in within 24 hours or your password will need to be reset again.
  • If you cannot remember the email address you used to create your account, please Contact our customer service department, and a representative will help you.

I've received your newsletter but I can't log into my account. What do I do?

You don't need an Evan-Moor account to subscribe to the Education E-Newsletter. If you would like to subscribe, start by clicking on the subscribe link.

When logging into my account, are emails and passwords case sensitive?

Your email is not case sensitive. If you are having problems logging into your account, please Contact our customer service department.

E-Books

How do I download my digital product?

There are several ways to access your e-books. Immediately following your e-book purchase, there will be an onscreen link to your account area for you to download your purchase. You will also receive an email confirmation after you place an order that contains a link to the download area. You may also access your e-book purchase by going to My Account and follow the next steps to download your e-book(s).

To download your e-book(s):

  1. Click on the icon at the top right of the home page and Log In to your account.
  2. Hover over this icon again and choose My Account.
  3. In the My Account area, select Manage E-books. Your purchased e-books will be displayed in alphabetical order.
  • E-books with a green icon “e-book are ready to download.
  • E-books with a purple icon “assign indicate multiple copies were purchased and will need to be assigned to the appropriate teachers before they can be downloaded.
  • E-books with a grey icon “e-book indicates that you have exceeded your three downloads and can no longer download this title. 
  1. To download your e-book, click the “e-book next to the product you want to download. The download process will begin. Downloading times will vary depending on the size of your e-book file. Once complete, open and SAVE your e-book.

NOTE: Your purchase allows for three downloads of the e-book file, and then your access will expire and will need to be repurchased. To ensure easy and ongoing access to your e-books in the future, remember to SAVE the file to your computer or an external storage solution, such as a thumb drive, once you've downloaded it.

How is an e-book different than a print book?

An e-book is a PDF file of the book that you download and save to your computer. The content is exactly the same as the printed version. E-books are immediately available to you and incur no shipping charges. An e-book allows you to select and extract the content you want in order to do the following:

  • Post lessons, tests, or answer keys on a password-protected class website.
  • Make additional PDFs to share with students working from home.
  • Create a PowerPoint presentation and more!

How can I use enhanced e-book features on an extracted page?

If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, save the page you want to extract as a PDF, then all of the enhanced features, such as the typewriting tools, editing tools, and read alouds will function. However, if using Adobe Reader, the extracted content is saved as an image rather than as dynamic content and the enhanced features will not work on the extracted page.

How do I download an e-book on my iPad or iPhone?

Follow these simple steps:

  1. After purchasing your e-book, log in to your Evan-Moor account from your device, navigate to the My Account area and choose Manage E-books.
  2. Select the (show download icon) button next to the e-book you wish to download.
  3. Once the download is complete, the book cover will appear on your device. You will be able to scroll through all pages of the e-book. Select the SHARE icon at the bottom of your screen and choose SAVE TO FILES and SAVE.
  4. Your e-book will now be available in the FILES on your device.

How do I use the e-book features on my iPad?

If the e-book features are not working on your iPad, you will need to download a PDF mark-up app for your iPad. You can get a free PDF-notes app from iTunes or purchase a PDF mark-up app.

What is Evan-Moor’s e-book return policy?

All e-book sales are nonrefundable. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for products in this category. If you need additional assistance, please contact our customer service department, and a representative will be happy to help you. What is the copyright policy for an e-book?

With the purchase of Evan-Moor e-books, you are granted a single-user license that allows you to use or duplicate the content of your books for use in your classroom or home only. Sharing your materials or making copies for other teachers or homeschoolers is not allowed. For more information, please read the entire copyright policy.

How long will my e-product take to download?

The time it takes to download an e-book depends on the speed of your internet connection and the size of the file. Most e-books download in less than a minute.

Can I download multiple e-products at the same time?

No. You may purchase multiple e-books at the same time, but each e-book must be downloaded separately. You may access your e-books using your online account. Log in, then access your account area and select the Manage E-books link.

Can I buy an e-book using a school purchase order?

Yes. If you have an official, authorized purchase order, you can submit it to Evan-Moor online. It is preferred that e-book orders are placed online because they require an online account. E-books will be delivered to the account of the person placing the order and can be assigned to the appropriate teachers as needed once the order has been completed.

Follow these easy steps to place your online purchase order for e-books:

  1. Log in to your Evan-Moor account. If you don’t have an account, please create one prior to ordering.
  2. Review your account addresses by navigating to My Account and choosing Addresses. If the billing address for your purchase order is not listed, please create it.
  3. Fill your shopping cart with the e-books you wish to purchase and proceed to Checkout.
  4. At Payment Type, select the green button that includes Purchase Order.
  5. At Type of Order, select School or District, SAVE, and continue.
  6. Choose the billing address from the drop-down, SAVE, and continue. (No shipping address is needed unless your order also includes print books.)
  7. At Payment Method, choose PO, SAVE, and continue.

NOTE: If you do not have an official purchase order yet, you may select the Purchase Requisition option; no order will be placed, but you will be able to print the order to submit to your school or district for approval and to have a purchase order cut.

  1. At Payment Information, enter the approved PO number and the name of the person who approved it, SAVE, and continue.
  2. Review your order and if everything is correct, select the CONFIRM button to place the order.

Once your order is complete, you can immediately access the e-book(s) within the account area of the person who placed the order, using the Manage E-books link. If the e-book(s) were purchased for a different user, you will need to assign them to the appropriate person, who can download the e-book from their own account.

If you prefer, purchase orders containing e-books can be mailed or faxed to us. Please be sure the purchase order includes the name, title, and email address for each person receiving an e-book. After processing your purchase order, a customer service representative will email the main contact person with instructions.

Can I buy multiple e-books to distribute to teachers at my school?

  3. Select the Manage E-books link and follow the instructions there to assign e-books.

NOTE: Once assigned, an email will be sent to those individuals, including a link to download their e-book(s). They can also navigate to their account area themselves and download.

I never got an email with a link to download my e-book. What should I do?

If you haven't received an email regarding your e-book, you can download your e-book from the Manage E-books center of your Evan-Moor account.

Simply follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on the icon at the top right of the home page to log in to your account.
  2. Hover over this icon again and choose My Account.
  3. In the My Account area, select Manage E-books. Your purchased e-book(s) will be displayed in alphabetical order.

I can't find my digital product. What should I do?

When you download an e-book or courseware, the electronic file is saved to the location indicated by your computer’s browser. If you cannot remember where you saved your digital product or are unable to locate it on your computer, check the downloads folder on your computer. You can also go to the start menu on your computer and search for the Manage E-books area of your Evan-Moor account to download the digital product again.

Yes, we offer a digital catalog, and you can view or download onto your device.

How can I find a specific product?

You can search for specific products using the search bar at the top of our website or select the SHOP NOW link at the top left-hand side of the home page and then filter by subject or choose one of the four category tabs in the center: PARENTS, EDUCATORS, HOMESCHOOLERS,or TEACHERFILEBOX. If you cannot find what you’re looking for, contact customer service for assistance.

Do you have a store location?

We do not have a physical store. All orders are processed online through our website.

What is your return policy?

Our return policy allows for returns within 90 days of purchase. Please review our Return Policy for more details.

How do I subscribe to your mailing list?

You can subscribe to our mailing list here: Subscribe to Email or Catalog. We also offer a subscription option at checkout.

How do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?

If you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list, you can do so by using our Unsubscribe form, clicking the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our emails, or contacting customer service.

How can I update my mailing list preferences?

To update your mailing list preferences, log into your account and adjust your communication preferences under the Email section.

How do I find out about current offers?

Current offers and promotions are featured on our website’s homepage and in our newsletters. You can also view our sale items by selecting Monthly Specials in the left navigation. Sign up for our mailing list to receive updates on special offers.  

Can I use a coupon code on sale items?

Coupon codes can typically be used on sale items unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions of the offer.

When do offers expire?

Offers and promotions are subject to expiration dates as stated in the offer details. Be sure to check the terms and conditions for specific expiration dates.

How do I change my billing and shipping information?

With an Evan-Moor account you can access and change your billing information at any time. To update your billing information, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Log In link located in the top-right corner (display person icon) and enter your email address and password.
  2. Hover over this icon again and choose My Account.
  3. In the My Account area, select Addresses.
  4. Locate the address you would like to update and press the EDIT button located below the address.
  5. Enter your address updates and click on the UPDATE button.

 

Your address book will immediately be updated.

How do I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order by logging in to your account, navigating to the My Account area, and selecting Orders. You will find details about your order’s status and tracking information there.

Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Once an order has been placed, it is processed quickly. If you need to change or cancel your order, please Contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your request before the order is shipped.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please Contact our customer service department as soon as possible. We will assist you with the replacement or return process.
